This week the Double T 97-3 staff answer, "What was your favorite win of the 2018-19 regular season for the Big 12 Champion Red Raider Basketball team?"
Jamie Lent - Morning Drive and Press Box
The win that clinched it all at Iowa St. deserves strong consideration, but for me the game that really made me believe that Texas Tech was going to win the Big 12 title was the game against Kansas. A complete domination by the Red Raiders over a good Jayhawk team and an awesome crowd and atmosphere at the USA. That by far was my favorite game of the regular season. Hopefully I'll have a bunch more to chose from in the postseason.
Chois Woodman - The Bottom Line
My favorite win of the year was the home game vs. Kansas. Beating down one of the national powers by 29 points was quite tasty (even if the Jayhawks are a bit down this year). That was also a moment where I realized that this team could be a Final Four team. This is a special season and it's hard to pick just one game, but that one was as good as any.
Jeff McGuire - The Bottom Line and Sunday Sports Blitz
Anyone that knows me, knows this answer. The win in Austin. I love beating Texas in anything. I really love beating Texas in Austin. It was the first road win against Texas in the Big 12 era. The win over the horns here was nice, but beating them there is tops.
Zach Sparkman - Tech Talk
It’s tough to say anything besides the absolute drubbing of Kansas at home, but due to the anticlimactic nature of the game I’ll say the Championship clincher against Iowa State. It had all the stresses and feelings of an NCAA tournament game with all of the payoff and will go down as a game Red Raider fans remember for years to come.
Garrett Luft - Coors Light Post Game Show
Either TCU or Baylor. The TCU game felt like a breaking-out moment for some offensive cohesion, although you followed it up with a stinker at KU. But the Baylor game was extremely enjoyable and confirmation that this offense was truly improved. And getting up by 30+ on Scott Drew and the Bears was just too much fun.

I think, for me, the Texas win at home was my favorite. I know some people will probably pick the dominant Kansas win but that game was over after the first 10 min. With Texas, it was only a 9 point game at the half. While they never truly got within striking distance, they were still in the game, which made Tech’s efforts to cruise on to a 19 point victory more impressive to me. I’ll take a slow methodical win against Texas over a stomping of a Kansas team that wanted to get on the bus more than put up a fight. Also, I just like when we beat Texas. It’s a lot of fun.
