THIS AFTERNOON: It's another mild day, with 60s across much of the area and even a few 70s over the southwestern South Plains. It'll turn colder this weekend, but the data has backed off on how much colder.
TONIGHT: Some clouds, low near 42. The west wind will increase through the night, becoming breezy by sunrise.
TOMORROW: Windy and mild, high in the mid 60s. West wind 20-35mph, gusts to around 50. This could kick up some blowing dust.
Then a front will move through the area tomorrow night. We might see a few light showers. Now it looks like if there are any showers it'll be rain, though we can't rule out a few snow flakes.
It'll be a strong N/W wind on Saturday, averaging 15-30mph.
We've bumped the forecast high up to 55 Saturday, which is around average. Just a few days ago it looked like we'd stay in the 30s. The core of that cold air keeps shifting farther away.
NEXT WEEK: Sunday will recover nicely, to the mid 60s with lots of sun. Then it'll climb all the way to the mid 70s Monday with a gusty wind.
Plenty of wind through next week, with it cooler Tuesday and Wednesday.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast posted here early tomorrow.
