THIS AFTERNOON: It's a cool day with a lot of sun. We had low clouds and some freezing fog in the area this morning. To the south of Lubbock it's only reached the mid 40s because the clouds stuck around. Lubbock and points north it's warmed to the 50s with sun.
TONIGHT: Once again some low clouds and fog are possible, low near 31. Wind SW/W 5-10mph.
TOMORROW: High 62, sunny. Wind W/SW 5-15mph.
NEXT FEW DAYS: It'll stay fairly mild. We may have a few 70s in the area Wednesday and Friday. Both those days the wind will kick up.
WEEKEND: We'll have another weekend where it turns colder. But, unlike last weekend, we probably won't see a quick warm-up after. Longer-range guidance shows it staying cold into next week.
The front will move through late Friday, setting up a Saturday where it may only reach the mid 30s. The chance for precipitation isn't zero, but not great at this point. We'll keep an eye on Saturday for the chance for a little light snow.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
