Had a few light showers southwest of the area this morning. It didn't last long but we will have clouds again this morning.
TODAY: A mixture of sun and clouds and a chilly day with the high near 50. The wind will be shifting to the south and staying light 5-10mph.
TONIGHT: Slight chance for some light showers into the early morning hours. Mostly cloudy sky will help to keep temperatures a little warmer, low near 37.
REST OF THE WEEK: Mostly cloudy sky continues with highs a little warmer in the mid to upper 50s. A low pressure system will move across the area interacting with moisture, this will bring a better chance for some light to moderate rainfall starting later Thursday into Friday. It will start from New Mexico and move through the area, clearing from west to the east Friday. Some models are showing rain totals 1/4-1/2 of an inch possible.
EXTENDED: Cloud cover will diminish Saturday then return Sunday. Should stay dry but some light precipitation possible for the western counties Sunday. Colder temperatures with highs in the upper 40s and 50s into next week.
Have a great Wednesday! Matt will have the next update to the forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
