An area of high pressure is moving quickly across the area, which will help clear our skies into the evening and overnight. Circulation of the wind around the high will shift the winds, thus bringing in milder temperatures for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Some late showers are possible Christmas Day, but scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday as another system stalls across the area.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with lows near 31° and a south wind near 10mph.
CHRISTMAS EVE: Warner with a high near 61° and mostly clear skies. SW wind 10-15mph.
Once the system on Wednesday finally passes, temperatures will drop. Some moisture forecast to pass by on Wednesday could bring us the chance of a few snow showers. It's still a bit far out in the forecast, but we're watching it. Regardless, at this time it doesn't look too intense.
