A pretty quiet weather pattern is shaping up through Christmas. Good news for travel around the region.
TONIGHT: Mostly to partly cloudy, gusty wind initially. Low near 38. Wind W/NW 10-15mph by morning.
TOMORROW: High near 65, mostly sunny. Wind NW/SW 10-15mph. It'll be a little bit cooler north of Lubbock.
NEXT FEW DAYS: Another front will move through the area early Sunday, keeping the temperature in the 40s during the afternoon. Then it's milder again Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Latest data has trended weaker on the wind for Christmas Day, but it still looks like it'll be up around 20mph in the afternoon.
There's a chance for some rain Tuesday night into Wednesday. It'll turn colder late next week into next week.
I hope you have a great weekend and a very Merry Christmas. I'll be out with family next week. Thanks to Robert for filling in. And thank you for following our team through the year.
