Lubbock Police arrested a burglary suspect that attempted to remove the security camera from a victim's home.

Brandon Alexander Mills, 31, tried to force his way into the residence through the west side door, but was unable to get in. According to the police report, Mills then tried removing the security camera with a pry bar. He was able to get into the home through the back door and removed a TV and sound system, placing them on the back porch.

Once officers arrived on scene, they were able to locate Mills in the backyard of another residence close by. Mills jumped the fence in an effort to get away and ran through the backyard of another home that lead to 23rd street and Knoxville. Mills ignored multiple commands from officers to stop but kept running, according to the report.

He is held on a $12,500 bond.
