LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Lubbock grand jury indicts two defendants for the murder of a man who was homeless. Last month investigators found skeletal remains behind an abandoned home near 20th and avenue "v".  The victim's remains have not yet been identified.

According to sworn statements, Anna Smith, 31, claims when she was aroused from sleep in that backyard, she was confronted by the victim exposing himself. Smith reportedly left that back yard with Kethan Anderson, 38, then they returned about 90 minutes later.

Smith and Anderson  confronted the victim about the exposure and Smith claims she pulled a knife on him. According to her statement, Anderson tackled the victim and strangled him, while Smith pinned him down.

Smith and Anderson claim they left the victim in the same spot where investigators found the remains. Witnesses reportedly told investigators Anderson bragged about choking and killing a man in a back yard.

If convicted Smith and Anderson face 25 to 60 years in prison. Both are held on $200,000 dollars bond.
