Rain this morning has the chance to change to snow, and blowing snow at that. Overnight the wind kicked up and is 30-45mph with gust to 60mph already this morning. Be extremely careful if you are driving a high profile vehicle.
TODAY: HIGH WIND WARNING in effect until 6 p.m. for this very strong northerly wind continuing to stay 30-45mph with gusts to 60mph. Mostly cloudy with the chance for mixed precipitation into the early parts of today. This will remain light amounts, nothing like we saw over the weekend. High near 44, this all will be clearing from west to east through the day.
TONIGHT: Low near 26, mostly clear sky and breezy to windy at times. This means wind chills will be in the teens and single digits.
FRIDAY: Sunny with the high near 54. The wind will stay breezy through most of the day then backing off during the evening.
EXTENDED: Temperatures will stay mild through the weekend and into next week. Much lighter wind and a lesser chance for any precipitation.
Have a great Thursday! Matt will have the next update to the forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
