THIS AFTERNOON: It's again colder in Lubbock than the rest of the area. We did make it into the 50s here, with upper 50s to lower 60s rest of the area. With more of the snow on the ground melting, we'll see less of an influence on the temperature next few days.
TONIGHT: Low 26, partly cloudy. Wind SW 6-12mph. It'll be a little cooler in Lubbock than rest of the area. While the roads improved nicely today, there will probably be some icy patches tomorrow morning with that water re-freezing.
TOMORROW: Partly cloudy, high 55. Wind SW 10-18mph.
NEXT FEW DAYS: Wednesday will be a little bit warmer, into the lower 60s, mostly sunny. It may turn a little breezy late Wednesday.
Strong wind is on the way Thursday. In fact, the wind will probably kick up a few hours before sunrise Thursday. It'll stick around all day long. N/NW wind 25-35mph, gusts 45-55mph. This powerful storm system also may produce a few light showers in the area, either rain or rain with a few snowflakes mixed in.
The weekend will be mostly sunny, high in the mid to upper 50s.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
