The snow melted some yesterday afternoon. This morning temperatures are extremely cold with wind chills in the single digits and teens. Anything that melted yesterday has frozen back as ice on the roads. Give extra time for the morning commute and drive slowly.
TODAY: High near 48, lots of sunshine to melt the rest of the snow away. Light wind 5-10mph changing to the southwest.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear sky, low near 29. Caution likely needed again in the morning with the snow melting today. This will refreeze again leaving possible slick spots on some roads.
REST OF THE WEEK: Warmer through Wednesday with highs climbing into the low 60s. The wind will start to pick up ahead of our next cold front Wednesday night. This front will bring a strong wind Thursday with gusts high as 45mph. There is also a slight chance for a few showers, but nothing looks promising for the area. Dropping to the 40s and 50s Thursday, warming to the upper 50s for the weekend.
Have a great Monday! Matt will have the next update to the forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
