Colder Sunday with a risk for wintry weather - FOX34 Lubbock

Colder Sunday with a risk for wintry weather

We'll remain windy into the evening, but it will settle down overnight as a cold front pushes through the area. As a result, expect colder temps not only Sunday but also into next week.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with the wind starting off 15-25mph, but easing overnight with a low of 31°.

SUNDAY: Some clouds with a high temperature of 56°. Wind shifting from WNW to ESE 5-10mph. Chance of an isolated shower, and perhaps some wintry weather farther north, closer Clovis or Amarillo.

We remain cold into next week, with next weekend's forecast looking fairly interesting. It looks like we could see a better chance for wintry weather closer to Lubbock. It's still almost a week out, but we'll be keeping an eye on it.
