TODAY: It's been another mild day with the west wind occasionally gusty. We reached the upper 60s in Lubbock with a few 70s in our area.
TONIGHT: Clear, low near 35. Wind SW/W 5-15mph.
TOMORROW: Warmer with more wind. High 73, sunny, wind W 12-22mph.
NEXT FEW DAYS: Thursday will get even warmer, high near 75. Breezy once again.
Stronger wind is expected Friday, W 20-32mph with gusts over 40mph. High in the upper 60s.
With more wind and warm, dry days the wildfire risk will ramp up some. There could be some blowing dust as well, especially near recently harvested fields.
WEEKEND: Breezy Saturday, windy Sunday. Both days should reach the low 60s with some high clouds overhead.
NEXT WEEK: A front will move through late Sunday, dropping the temperature to the 40s and low 50s first part of next week.
At this point there isn't a good sign of showers over the next week or so.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
