Warm and windy with a Sunday chill - FOX34 Lubbock

Warm and windy with a Sunday chill

Winds have been increasing already this morning. Expect winds to blow generally out of the WNW from 15-25mph, with some gusts even higher. The wind will settle down a bit by the early evening, but the wind continues Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

TODAY: Warmer and mostly sunny with a high of 68°. WNW wind 15-25mph with higher gusts.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with a low of 39° with a W wind 10-15mph.

A system in the Pacific Northwest is developing and will eventually push across the Plains. This will bring in some cooler air by Sunday across the area. No rain expected in the next 7 days, but a few freezing nights are in the forecast.
