Pleasant Thanksgiving, warm and windy weekend - FOX34 Lubbock

Pleasant Thanksgiving, warm and windy weekend

Temperatures won't be too far from average this Thanksgiving day. Expect some increasing clouds however by the afternoon.

Black Friday will be dry and cold. It will be warmer than average though. However, even with the slightest wind, it may feel like the mid to low 30s. If you plan on going out early, bundle up! The wind will pick up this weekend especially, blowing up to 25 mph with gusts potentially higher.

TODAY: Sun with increasing clouds. High of 60°. SSW winds 5-15 mph.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy, then clearing by sunrise. Low of 43°. S winds 10-15mph.

A front moves through Sunday, dropping our temperatures below average again. This will continue into the early half of the week. Aside from that it looks like we stay fairly sunny with no rain expected throughout at least the next seven days. Happy Thanksgiving!
