Some cloud with warmer temperatures rest of the week

LUBBOCK, Texas -

Clouds have increased overnight with some warmer temperatures to start this morning.

TODAY: Partly sunny with the high near 56, light south west wind 5-10mph. If traveling it will be nice and partly cloudy for Texas, some showers possible towards the coast. 

TONIGHT: Low near 35, clouds will be decreasing.

THANKSGIVING: Cloud cover returns but temperatures will continue to warm to near 60 for the area. Light south/southwest wind 5-15mph, perfect weather to be outdoors with family. 

FRIDAY & SATURDAY: Temperatures will continue to warm to near 70 by Saturday. The wind will strengthen 15-25mph with gusts to 30mph. The low will be near 44 to start Friday morning if you are planning on waiting in line for deals. 

EXTENDED: Cold front will drop the highs Sunday and into next week into the 50s. Lows will also be dropping below freezing again to start the workweek. The wind will stay strong Sunday, then drop around 10-15 Monday.
