MILD DAY: We started the week with Monday afternoon in the 20s and 30s. So this afternoon in the upper 60s feels quite warm. We have another day like it tomorrow.
TONIGHT: Clear and cold, low near 30. Wind SW/NW 5-10mph.
TOMORROW: Sunny and mild, high near 67. Wind NW/SW 5-12mph.
For the Friday night playoff football games it'll be cold, but not too bad for this time of year. Kickoff near 60, end of the games in the upper 40s. Clear sky, light south wind.
WEEKEND: A cold front will move through early Saturday, which will kick up the north wind. Saturday's high in the mid 50s. N wind 12-20mph.
Sunday will be the cooler day of the weekend, only reaching the mid to upper 40s.
NEXT WEEK: Travel weather looks pretty good at this point for our region up through Thanksgiving. One computer model has a bit of rain Wednesday, while another model is dry. For now we're showing an increase of clouds in the forecast, but may have to add a rain chance later. No signs of any real cold air next week.
TEXAS TECH FORECAST: Saturday brings the coldest game of the season of the season for the Red Raiders. That's saying something after the last two weeks. Kickoff mid 30s, end of the game upper 20s. North wind strong early, around 15-25mph, dropping off through the game. Sunset is 5:10.
There's a slight chance for some snow late in the game.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have a complete update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
