LUBBOCK, Texas -

U.S. Senior District Judge Sam Cummings sentenced an Olton man to more than 19 years in federal prison Friday for a single charge of enticement of a minor.

Jimmy Kit Fields, 37, pleaded guilty to the charge and admitted to having sex with a 13-year-old girl four times since March. He gave the victim a cell phone that month, and her parents feared she was having an inappropriate relationship. They didn't find any evidence until the end of May.

The victim went missing for a while that day, and when she returned she gave Roosevelt County deputies her Facebook password. Deputies found sexually explicit conversations the two were having and their plans to meet.

After serving his prison sentence, Fields will be on supervised release for 20 years. Along with the standard supervisory restrictions like committing crimes or probation restrictions, Fields can't drink, have any unsupervised contact with children, or use a computer or Internet device like game systems, own any sexually-oriented content. He must also undergo sex offender treatment.
