Cold front moved through early this morning bringing a little breeze from the northeast. Low clouds have filtered in with some light mist.
TODAY: Staying mostly cloudy and cold, high near 48. Might start to have some drizzle and light rain late this afternoon. The stronger northeast wind will reduce to around 10mph and change to the east through the day.
TONIGHT: Low near 37, likely to have drizzle and light rain increasing for the area.
REST OF WEEK: Highs staying in the 40s to low 50s. The mostly cloudy sky with some light rain and drizzle continues through Thursday and in the early morning hours of Friday. There might be some mixed precipitation early Friday to our northwestern counties where temperatures will be below freezing. A second push of cold will start to clear clouds and precipitation out Friday.
EXTENDED: It will warm some this weekend into the 50s with some sunshine. Then another strong front to start next week will drop us back into the 40s with lows in the 30s. Models are hinting possible snow with the colder temperatures Monday.
Stay warm today, Matt will have the next update to the forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
