A little chilly this morning, lots of sun, calm wind, and warmth through this afternoon. High will be near 77.
TONIGHT: Low near 42, mostly clear sky. Wind will shift northeast from a cold front in the morning. This will also bring more clouds for the area.
WEDNESDAY: Highs will be dropping around 20 degrees, for Lubbock the high will be near 54. Partly cloudy sky with some light rain/ drizzle possible late in the afternoon.
REST OF WEEK: Better chances for the light precipitation will be through Thursday and into early Friday. Another cold push of air will move through Thursday dropping highs in the 40s ans 50s, with lows near and below freezing.
EXTENDED: Becoming mostly sunny Saturday and a little warmer for the weekend. Temperatures will still be around 10 degrees below the average for this time of year. A jacket will be needed again for the night Tech game against Texas.
