It's going to be a nice day to be outside with lots of sunshine and some warm temperatures. The wind will become a little breezy from the southwest 10-18mph.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear sky will continue with another nice, cool start with lows in the upper 40s and 50s.
TUESDAY: A cold front will move through the area during the day. This will leave temperatures cooler for the northern counties and warmer for the southern counties. Lubbock's high near 72, mostly sunny with the wind shifting to the north with the front.
SCARY HALLOWEEN FORECAST: The kiddos will need some warm clothes and small possibility for an umbrella while trick or treating. The high will be dropping to the 50s, mostly cloudy, and slight chance for some light rain for the area. It will likely be in the 40s during the evening hours, but dropping to near freezing early Thursday morning.
EXTENDED: Temperatures do warm some for the rest of the week but staying below the average for this time of year. Rain chances will quickly diminish by late Wednesday, then mostly sunny for the rest of the week.
Have a great Monday and enjoy the warmth. Matt will have the next update to the forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
