RAIN ON THE WAY: There's widespread rain across Central New Mexico down into northern Mexico, more into SW Texas. It's a sign of what's in store for us tomorrow.
TONIGHT: Cloudy and cool, possibly a shower before Midnight. The better chance for rain starts over the southwestern South Plains early in the morning. Low near 46.
WEDNESDAY: We'll probably have some rain around for the morning commute. Rain will continue off-and-on through the day, ending first out west by late afternoon. High temp only 49.
Common rain totals of 1/2", some locations more than 1". The southern part of our area is where the heavier rain should fall, lighter amounts farther north.
CLEARING OUT: We'll see more sun by Thursday afternoon, high in the mid 60s. Then 70s return Friday and Saturday. In fact, we may finally make it a few degrees above the average high on Saturday, something we haven't done much of last couple weeks. Average high tomorrow is 73, dropping to 71 by Sunday.
No strong signs of any more rain through early next week and also no big pushes of cold air just yet.
Hope you stay warm tomorrow and have a great day. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow morning.
