Nathaniel Jouett pleads guilty in Clovis Library shooting

CLOVIS, New Mexico -

17-year-old Nathaniel Jouett pleads guilty to 33 counts in indictment including two counts of murder in the first degree. 

The charges stem from the mass shooting on August 28, 2017, at the Clovis Carver Public Library, where Wanda Walters and Kristina Carter were found dead and four other people, including a child, were shot and sustained serious injuries. 

Jouett will be sentenced as a serious youthful offended. His sentencing is scheduled for a later date in Clovis.

Jouett faces up to two life sentences plus 96 years in prison.
