Covenant Children's hosts Halloween Party

Posted: Updated:
LUBBOCK, Texas -

(Press release)

Covenant Children’s Hospital’s annual Spirit of Children Halloween Party kicks off today at 11:00 a.m. This is a great opportunity to show community support for Lubbock’s children in the child life department who otherwise wouldn’t be able to participate in Halloween celebrations.

At the event, patients and families will enjoy a Halloween party, hosted by Spirit of Children, in the Child Life department.Participants will be able to select their own, new Halloween costume provided by Spirit halloween, participate in games and complete Halloween crafts.

The party, hosted by Spirit of of Children, helps make hospitals less scary for kids and is part of Spirit Halloween's Spirit of Children program, which has raised more than $91K for Covenant Children’s Hospital. Members of the Lubbock community have donated throughout the Halloween season at local Spirit Halloween stores, so this is the perfect way to showcase how their contributions are making a difference.
