Temperatures haven't moved much since yesterday afternoon. We also have a few light showers with the mostly cloudy sky across the area.
TODAY: Yes another cold day with the high near 51. Mostly cloudy with some isolated to scattered showers through the day. Down state more major flooding concerns as the heavier rain continues.
TONIGHT: Low near 42, rain coverage will increase for much of the area. This activity will remain light to moderate at times. Likely to have some puddles on roadways with your morning commute.
ENDING THE WEEK: This light and moderate rain continues through much of the day Thursday. The system bringing this rain will eject out of the area by Friday, ending the rain chances by late in the day. Some accumulative rain totals could be 0.5 - 1.5 inches through Friday. A little warmer by Friday as well with temperatures in the low to mid 60s.
EXTENDED: Perfect game day weather for the Texas Tech homecoming game Saturday. Mostly sunny and still cool with the high near 65. Rain chances will return again by Sunday and into next week. For now it looks to be light and not widespread.
Have a great Wednesday, stay dry and warm. Matt will have the next update to the forecast tonight on the News at Nine.
