COOL WEATHER CONTINUES: The temperature won't move much tonight. The high today was 45, low tomorrow morning will be near 40. We've had some light rain off-and-on today. There's a chance we'll get a little more light rain through morning. Here is current radar:
Clouds will hang around tomorrow, high near 51, wind NE 5-12mph. It'll be a little warmer northeast of Lubbock. During the day there's a slight chance for rain, with the chance going higher tomorrow night into Thursday.
Rain is likely Thursday, high in the 40s. While heavy rain isn't expected, at times it may pick up to a moderate shower.
WARMER DAYS: The rain chance is lower Friday. Hopefully the rain will end in time for the football games. Provided we see some breaks in the clouds, it should climb into the 60s Friday.
Saturday it'll finally clear out, with a good amount of sun. High near 65. That would put kickoff for the Kansas-Texas Tech game in the low 60s.
Sunday should again reach the 60s. The next slight chance for rain returns late Sunday night and continues through the middle of next week. Keep in mind the average high this time of year is in the mid 70s. Next week won't be as cold as this week, but should still stay below the average.
Hope you have a great rest of the evening. Bobby will have a full update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
