Society for Range Management hosting annual meeting

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Society for Range Management hosts its annual meeting to teach the different land resources available in our state.

SRM President Bryan Hays said attendees will learn from industry, academia and private landowners, all stakeholders in the state's land economy.

"Being in Lubbock Texas is a wonderful opportunity because we have the Ranching Heritage Museum, which we were at yesterday, and learning about the history of ranching," Barron Rector, Associate Professor range specialist at Texas A&M, said. "See, if we don't repeat and tell people about what has happened in the past, those people will not understand why we are where we are today."

SRM studies managing and sustaining the resources of range-lands.

The meeting continues tomorrow at the MCM Elegante at 8th street and Avenue Q.

All emails are demanding payments through Bitcoin. At this time, no suspicious packages have been located and it appears the email is possibly a scam.
