LUBBOCK, Texas -

On Tuesday, October 9, Lubbock Police arrested two men after a crash downtown. An officer attempted to make a traffic stop near 66th street and Avenue O when the driver of the vehicle reportedly tried to evade.

After a brief pursuit, officers called it off due to safety concerns. The suspect vehicle continued south, reportedly ran a stop sign at the intersection of Main and Avenue O and collided with an SUV. 

Investigators report the vehicle traveled for two more block before the suspects reportedly bailed out and tried to run. 

Trey Parrish, 28, and Moses Martinez, 28, were taken into custody by Lubbock Police Department. 

Parrish is charged with failure to stop and render aid, evading in a vehicle and evading on foot. Moses had warrants with the Lubbock Sheriff's Office and LPD and charged with evading on foot.

No injuries have been reported from the collision.
