Warmer today, mild this weekend

Posted: Updated:

Another cool start to the morning with a chance for some haze and areas of fog to develop.

TODAY: Becoming a sunny and warm afternoon with the high near 86. Southwest wind staying light 5-15mph. A cold front will move into the area later this evening, this may help to develop a few isolated showers for the northeastern counties.

TONIGHT: Another cool start with some low clouds early. Low near 56, east-northeast wind 5-15mph.

TECH FOOTBALL: There will be some cool temperatures to start the morning for the tailgaters. There might even be a round of patchy fog as the grills get fire up. This will clear though the morning and temperatures will be near 70 by kickoff. High near 80, mostly sunny.

EXTENDED: Mild into next week as temperatures will stay in the 80s. Moisture will increase as Hurricane Rosa moves onshore in the Baja. A better chance for rain will be later in the week as a front interacts with this moisture late next week.

Have a great Friday! Matt will have the next updated forecast on the News at Nine.
