LUBBOCK, Texas -

The nuptials are during halftime of Saturday’s Texas Tech Football game against West Virginia.

The Goin’ Band from Raiderland will perform a new show during Saturday’s game against West Virginia and it is something that has never been done before. The Goin’ Band will host a wedding.

Two Goin’ Band alumni will be married on the Double T at Jones AT&T Stadium during halftime on Saturday (Sept. 29).

The band will provide the musical accompaniment and other spirit squads around campus: including the Saddle Tramps, the National Champion Pom Squad and Cheer, will participate in the festivities. The band will perform traditional wedding music including Felix Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March” and Richard Wagner’s “Bridal Chorus.”

The couple will also share its first dance together to Etta James’ “At Last.”
