The front brought the gusty northeast wind and cooled us off yesterday evening. Overnight we have had showers and storms move in from New Mexico. So before you head to work this morning grab a jacket and an umbrella. Some rainfall totals have been over a half of inch in some locations. Street flooding a possibility for the morning commute.
TODAY: Mostly cloudy with rain continuing through most of the day. By this evening it should dry out with some showers to the southeastern counties. The wind will stay 15-22mph through lunch time, then diminish 5-10mph this evening. High only at 57!
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with the clouds breaking up and moving south. A very chilly start with the low near 45, some upper 30s possible for the northern counties.
REST OF THE WEEK: Much warmer with temperatures in the upper 70s by Thursday, 80s by Friday. Lots of sun with a light wind.
WEEKEND: Another front will push into the area and provide temperatures to cool by a few degrees. This front looks to be dry, but some models do bring a small chance for some rain early Saturday.
Stay dry and warm today! Matt will have the next updated forecast for the News at Nine.
