LUBBOCK, Texas -

Four residents at the Lubbock State School were arrested Tuesday, charged with aggravated assault, felony criminal mischief and organized crime for assaulting multiple other residents and state employees, according to Lubbock Police.

Police report Daniel Bundy, 20, Alice Barron, 30, Jacob Woods, 19, and Dalton Routon, 20, wanted to go to the South Plains Fair, but were denied. The four reportedly met in the parking lot, where investigators say they began damaging property as part of a "purge" because they were upset.

The incident started in the parking lot where state employees and residents tried to stop the crime, several sustaining injuries. Barron reportedly damaged cars and assaulted one of the victims with a side view mirror she had broken off one of the vehicles.  Police say Barron fled from the parking lot where she met Bundy, Woods and Routon in the Rose building.

According to the report, once inside, the four started breaking furniture, destroying windows and other property. Woods reportedly pulled the fire alarm, while police say Routon threw a chair seriously injuring one of the victims. Barron reportedly assaulted another victim with a metal piece of window trim while displaying a 2x4.

All four Lubbock State School residents were arrested for aggravated assault, felony criminal mischief and organized crime. Woods is additionally charged with making a false alarm or report.
