TONIGHT: Mainly clear, low near 59. Wind S/SW 5-15mph.
TOMORROW: A cold front will move through during the afternoon, which will set up a big temperature range from north to south. We're forecasting 87 in Lubbock, wind S/SW 12-18mph early.
The north wind will kick up late afternoon into the evening 15-25mph. Clouds will increase and there's a pretty good chance for rain late tomorrow night into Wednesday. It doesn't look like the widespread soaking rain that we received last week, but a few locations may go above 1/2" by Wednesday.
COLDER AIR: The temperature will fall pretty quickly Tuesday evening, dropping to near 60 by 9 p.m. Low on Wednesday morning in the mid 50s.
Wednesday afternoon, with clouds and some rain around, the high should only reach the lower 60s.
The sky will clear late Wednesday, setting up a low Thursday morning near 48.
