THIS AFTERNOON: It's another hot and sunny day, temperature around 95 to 100 across our area. We've got more of this weather next few days.
TONIGHT: Low near 70, clear with a southerly wind. Sunrise 7:21 a.m.
TOMORROW: Sunny and hot, high near 96. Wind S 5-15 mph.
PATTERN CHANGE: It'll be mostly sunny and hot again Saturday. There's a slight chance for storms late Saturday.
Sunday starts a bigger change, with the high in the 80s Sunday and through next week. We're not quite jumping on-board as cool as some models have next week, with a few afternoons near 80. But for now we've dropped the high into the mid 80s through next week.
There's a chance for showers and storms each day through next week. Common totals of 1/10" to 1/4" can be expected through middle of next week, but some locations may pick up 1/2" to 1".
TEXAS TECH FORECAST: Good chance for a shower or storm both tomorrow and Saturday in Houston. It'll be muggy with the high in the low 90s, heat index higher than that. It'll be comfortable inside NRG Stadium with the roof closed.
Have a great rest of your day. Robert will have an update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
