Average high temperatures this time of year are about 90°, and we'll likely be above that this weekend and all of next week. A few showers have popped up west this evening, and a few could linger overnight. Monday looks the hottest, but the chance of showers returns Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tonight, expect a few lingering showers and a few clouds. Low temperatures will drop to about 72° and winds will blow from the SSE 10-15mph. Sunday, expect mostly clear skies with temperatures reaching 95 in the afternoon.
Monday, highs will reach the upper 90s. A stray shower isn't impossible, but the better chance of rain comes Tuesday and into Wednesday. Things look dry again beyond that. Not much change is expected this coming week. While we did see a dent in the drought monitor last week, I don't expect much difference when the new one is released this week.
