Storms Sunday, but not as many

We've observed some great rain coverage all day today. Thunderstorms continue Sunday, but not as many. A cool front expected in the morning will spin up some showers, with some drier air following behind.

Tonight, expect some lingering thunderstorms. Low temperatures will reach about 70°, but cooler toward the northwest, with mostly cloudy skies. Expect some thunderstorms Sunday, especially in the morning. As a cold front comes through, temperatures will peak at about 92°, but much cooler toward the northeast with the influence of the cooler air. Some places may only reach the mid 80s. Some isolated storms are possible in the afternoon as well.

An area of high pressure builds in next week, thus keeping our skies mostly clear and eventually allowing the temperature to climb slightly. Overall, temperatures won't be far from average and the humidity should be knocked down a peg. Best chance of showers looks to be sometime next weekend or the beginning of next week.
