HOTTER PATTERN: It's climbed to the lower 90s around Lubbock this afternoon. There are a few storms in the eastern Texas Panhandle, moving to the SE. More storms are across Oklahoma. This is all tied to a big storm system that'll be moving NE into the Midwest.
TONIGHT: A few showers or storms are possible NE of Lubbock. Low near 69, mostly clear. Sunrise 7:10 tomorrow morning.
SUNNY DAYS: While we can't rule out an isolated shower or storm tomorrow Thursday, that chance is pretty low. It should climb to the mid 90s tomorrow through Friday.
WEEKEND: The storm chance returns Saturday and gets a little bit better Sunday. We're also expecting some cooler air to move in. Computers have some consistency on at least dropping the high to the mid to upper 80s, but there is some disagreement on the timing. For now we'll keep the high in the 90s through Sunday then drop the forecast high some early next week.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have an update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
