Afternoons in the 70s?

Afternoons in the 70s?

Things are a bit different than last week. This weekend, may be the coolest weekend we've seen in months! The last time we observed a high temperature in the 70s was May 20th.

Tonight, expect another chance of showers and thunderstorms, but not as widespread as Wednesday night. Wednesday night saw rainfall totals over 2" in some places. Low temps will reach 65 with ESE winds of 5-10mph. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms on Friday, with some also in the morning. High temps will reach 85 degrees with E winds around 5mph.

Take a look at this weekend! Highs only in the 70s! Low temperatures won't budge much, but some lows in the 50s not too far outside of Lubbock are possible. This weekends pattern will be similar to Friday's, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. No severe weather is expected.
