LUBBOCK, Texas -

The rain has come to an end this morning but some areas seen some nice totals:
Dimmitt 0.50”
Hereford 0.33”
Levelland 0.28”
Muleshoe 0.19”
Friona 0.12”
Memphis & Earth 0.08”

TODAY: Cloud cover will be on and off through the morning. We may still have some light showers, but rain chances coming to an end. High near 94, becoming mostly sunny with a southeast wind 8-15mph.

TONIGHT: Low near 70 and a mostly clear sky.

FRIDAY: The warmest day we have had this week, high near 96. Mostly sunny with a light breeze form the south/southeast 10-20mph. We might see a few showers late Friday into early Saturday for the northern counties. 

EXTENDED: The ridge of higher pressure that has continued to spin across the southwestern US, will spread into our area. This will keep low chance for storms and our highs near to above the average of 93 degrees.
