Authorities search for missing elderly couple

Posted: Updated:

Lubbock Police, in conjunction with Greenville Police and DPS are currently searching for two individuals.

Foye and June Davis of Greenville, Texas, were last seen in Lubbock, Texas yesterday around 7:30 a.m. before checking out of their hotel room in the 3200 block of the South Loop. The couple was in town visiting a family member in the hospital. Neither Foye, nor June have been seen, or heard from since checking out of their hotel. The two were last seen in a red GMC Terrain, with Texas Tags/license plate: DX3M651.

The concern stems from the fact that once arriving in Lubbock on July 23, they were found lost on the Texas Tech campus. The individual who found the two helped them to check in to the Pioneer Hotel in downtown Lubbock. After checking in to the hotel, they were then given directions by a hotel employee to Covenant hospital to visit a family member. After leaving Covenant, around 4 o’clock in the afternoon, the two then checked into Hotel Ava, located in the 3200 block of the South Loop, leaving behind their property, including their medication, at the Pioneer Hotel.

At this time, we are asking for the public’s assistance in locating both of these individuals. If any member of the public sees them, we ask that they immediately call 911, or contact their local law enforcement agency.
