Silent Wings Museum to host Aviation Boot Camp

LUBBOCK, Texas -

The Silent Wings Museum is helping some kids stay engaged this summer by participating in an Aviation Boot Camp.

They learn about aerodynamics, the physics of flight, World War II history and get to train with real marines

"We teach them how to stand at attention, how to march, a lot of movements, as far as left and right, and then a little light PT, just teaching them a little bit about what our workout schedule is like, pushing them just a little bit, teaching them what our boundaries are and how to surpass them," Jilman Ruthinda, CPL United States Marine Corps, said.

It's run like a boot camp but the drill instructors are nice and a graduation is held at the end of the week.
