Remember those days this past June where it was 100 for days and days. Well, we're back to the triple digits this week thanks to a strong area of high pressure taking hold. Our skies will be clear as a result, rain chances will be slim, and temps will rise to 100 by midweek.
Tonight, expect a low of 71 degrees with partly cloudy skies and SSE winds 5-15mph. A few clouds tomorrow will help keep us from reaching the upper 90s, but no rain is expected in our area. We'll likely see some storms in the northern panhandle thanks to a stationary front. Expect a high of 94 on Wednesday under mostly sunny skies and S winds 5-10mph.
We're basically back to the hot and dry pattern. If we can get that stationary front to budge a little south, perhaps we'd see a better chance for some storms. For the moment, it doesn't look like we'll be that lucky.
