Another nice start to the morning with temperatures in the 60s and 70s. We have some clouds working across the area.
TODAY: High near 93, mostly sunny sky with a south wind 10-15mph. Can't rule out an isolated storm but most of us will stay dry.
Better rain to the western half of the US from monsoonal moisture, this will cause some flash flooding in parts of AZ and NM.
TONIGHT: Low near 71, partly cloudy with a few showers in the morning the the far northwestern counties.
EXTENDED: Slight chance for storms with the better chances west near the TX/NM border through the rest of the week. Then sunny and warmer weekend with high climbing to the upper 90s. Lows will be nice to start in the lower 70s.
Join us on Good Day Lubbock until 9am. Matt will have the next update to the forecast on the News at Nine. Have a great Wednesday!
