Some storms possible Tuesday, but drier toward the weekend

Most showers today have remained south of Lubbock, and Tuesday presents another chance for showers as little disturbance moves through from the east. Beyond Tuesday, and area of high pressure moves in across the area keeping skies clearer. Temperatures will begin to rise a bit above average as a result.

Tonight, expect lows to reach the upper 60s again, but perhaps not as cool as Monday morning. We'll have partly cloudy skies with SE winds 5-10mph. Tomorrow, a mix of sun and clouds with isolated thunderstorms. Highs will struggle to reach the 90s one more time.

We'll see a few extra clouds Thursday and Friday, and while a stray shower isn't impossible, I'll keep us dry with highs near 94. The weekend is looking sunny though with highs into the mid to upper 90s.

Enjoy one more day in the 80s, Bobby and Matt are back tomorrow!
