Scattered storms again this evening, stray storms through Tuesday

One more bout of scattered storms this evening. Nothing severe is expected, however if a storm moves very slowly, we could see a few streets gather some water. Overall, it will be another chance for our crops and gardens to take a drink.

Tonight, temperatures return to the upper 60s with some partly cloudy skies. Expect winds out of the east around 5-10. Highs struggle to reach the 90s one more time on Monday, with Lubbock's forecast high at 88.

The excess moisture across the southeast is fueling these scattered showers, but we won't see as much heading into Monday and Tuesday. It looks like a stray storm is possible, but not like we've seen Friday through Sunday. Beyond that, it looks like an area of high pressure moves in keeping our skies clear and our rain chances low through the weekend. Temperatures approach the mid 90s which is a little closer to normal.

Bobby is back in the morning, and I'll be back tomorrow for Matt. Have a good start to the week!
