Updated 11:17 p.m. June 29: Laquilla Langs has been arrested. All three suspects are now in custody for burglary with intent to commit another felony. 


Update 4:22 p.m. June 29th

Brandon Keith Johnson, 33, was arrested in connection to the June 19 home burglary that occurred in the 2000 block of 25th Street. The resident, a 39-year-old female, was assaulted during the burglary. 

Johnson is the third suspect to be identified and a warrant for his arrest was secured earlier today. He was taken into custody for burglary with intent to commit another felony. 

Arrest warrants for the other two suspects, David Robinson, 36, and Laquila Langs, 25, were issued earlier this week. Robinson was arrested less than 24 hours after his warrant was issued. Langs is still outstanding. 

Anyone with information on Langs whereabouts are asked to call Crime Line at (806)741-100. Callers can remain anonymous. 


David Robinson, 36, was arrested early this morning on an outstanding warrant for burglary with intent to commit another felony in connection to a June 19th burglary.

The victim, a 39-year-old female, was assaulted during the burglary and was taken by ambulance to the hospital to be treated for injuries.

Wednesday morning, just after midnight, Lubbock Police received information Robinson was in the area of 1900 25th Street. Multiple officers arrived to the area and took Robinson into custody without incident.

LaQuilla Langs, 25, has not been located and currently has an active warrant for her arrest. Individuals with information on her whereabouts are asked to call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.

This case remains under investigation.


News release from the Lubbock Police Department:

Detectives with the Lubbock Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating 25-year-old Laquilla Langs and 36-year-old David Robinson. Both are wanted in connection to a burglary that occurred on June 19th in the 2000 block of 25th Street. The victim, a 39-year-old female, was assaulted during the burglary and was taken by ambulance to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
 
Through the investigation, Langs and Robinson were identified as two of the suspects. On Tuesday, detectives were able to secure arrest warrants for burglary with intent to commit another felony.
 
Langs is described as a black female weighing approximately 240 pounds and standing 5’07”. Robinson is described as a black male approximately 6’03” and  230 pounds.
 
Individuals with information on their whereabouts are asked to call Crime Line at (806)741-1000. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
 
This case remains under investigation and more arrests are possible.
