THIS EVENING: A few isolated storms are possible northwest of Lubbock. We've seen a few develop in the SW Panhandle late this afternoon. There's better coverage of storms in South Central New Mexico.
TONIGHT: Low near 73, wind S/SW 10-18mph. Any storms around this evening should diminish after sunset.
HOTTER DAYS: It should climb a few more degrees, near 100 tomorrow, 99 on Thursday with lots of sun both days.
SLIGHT PATTERN CHANGE: There should be some moisture in the air for some more clouds and slightly less hot days this weekend. It may be enough moisture for a few storms late Saturday and again Sunday. It won't be widespread rain, but at least a few storms should develop.
Have a great rest of your day. Bobby will have the latest update to the forecast here early tomorrow.
