Registered sex offender taken into custody

LUBBOCK, Texas -

As of, June 23, Nathan Kyles was taken into custody in Lubbock County, Texas, by the Lubbock Police Department and booked into the Lubbock County Jail.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the community in locating Nathan Kyles III. Kyles was released from Baten Intermediate Sanction Facility in Pampa, Texas on January 31, 2018.

Kyles was scheduled to arrive in El Paso, Texas on the same date & notify TDCJ Parole of his arrival and report to the Halfway House located at 1650 Horizon.

Kyles never arrived and a parole violation warrant was issued. He is currently on Parole for Attempted Burglary of Habitation and is a registered sex offender for the offense of Burglary of Habitation with Intent to Commit Sexual Assault out of the State of Texas, the victim being a 29-year-old female.
