Parks and Recreation to host Movies in the Park

Lubbock Parks and Recreation will be hosting five Movie in the Park events this summer beginning Friday, June 22.

Grab a blanket, pack up the kids and watch a movie out under the stars! Parks and Recreation is hosting five Movie in the Park events this summer. The series kicks off with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle on Friday, June 22, 2018, at Mae Simmons Community Center beginning at dusk or approximately 9:00 p.m. Thanks to our 2018 Movie in the Park sponsors who through their generosity have made these movies possible. Families are encouraged to bring blankets or low-backed lawn chairs, snacks and mosquito spray to enhance their viewing experience. Admission is free. A complete list of the movies with our sponsors is located below:
