We are seeing some showers and storms across the northern and northeast counties this morning. These are moving to the southeast and could produce a quick burst of rain. Totals should stay light less than a tenth of an inch.
TODAY: High near 91, cold front continues to move across the area. This will bring a 20-30 percent chance for showers and storms. Better chances seems to be off to the eastern half of the area, with some storms becoming strong to severe. Wind will shift to the northeast when the front passes and should stay light 8-15mph.
TONIGHT: Rain winding down with a mostly clear sky. Low near 68.
THURSDAY: The first day of Summer! High near 94, mostly clear sky.
WARMER DAYS AHEAD: The mercury will be rising by Friday and continuing through the weekend. Mostly sunny sky and breezy Friday, then sunny Saturday and Sunday. A few storms can't be ruled out but most should stay dry.
